Happened to me multiple times : i change a parent property, notice it doesn’t change the child, click the reset button. But then if i change the parent again, it still doesn’t change the child.
I’d actually want to do the same, and to do it from code. I have a big hierarchy of hundreds of scenes with multiple levels of inheritance. Id like perform some automated actions on the data in various properties on the whole hierarchy, and those actions require me to 1) check if a property overrides the value inherited from the parent scene directly above it and 2) be able to revert the override (make the inheriting scene have the same value as its direct parent scene and the revert icon in the inspector to disappear). I’ve tried experimenting with PropertyCanRevert and PropertyGetRevert, but unsuccessfully, getting false positives/negatives on PropertyCanRevert. Due to the number of scenes involved, manually clicking “revert” buttons in the inspector is not a viable solution. I’m using C#.
