How to turn off the manipulator gizmo

In 3D VIew, under View > Gizmos, I don’t see the (transform) manipulator as an option.

And under the Ortho/Perspective menu, unchecking “View Gizmos” doesn’t remove the manipulator either.

Is there a way to turn it off?

same here. “hide gizmos” hides the selection outline. I need that outline i just wanted to hide move, scale, rotate gizmos.

Edit: Found it. lock the node you select. gizmos will disappear. if you need to select the node select from Scene tab.

Locking the node worked for me, but I had to deselect/reselect for the gizmo to disappear. Feature request: add the transform gizmo to the View > Gizmos dropdown.
