I designed a card game and had the Codex agent build it in Godot because I do not know programming.
It is a four-player game: one human player against three bots. The basic goal is similar to Uno — get rid of your counted cards first, but the cards have physical and information-based actions such as drawing, giving, deleting, storing, freezing, locking, revealing, swapping, and manipulating the deck or discard piles.
There are two modes:
Vanilla Mode is the more stable version and is recommended for the first game.
Character Mode adds four characters with separate abilities. This mode is experimental and may still contain bugs.
The game may look complicated at first, so I included an English beginner guide in the ZIP.
This is a portable Windows build. Extract the ZIP completely and keep the EXE and PCK files in the same folder.
I scanned the build with Windows Defender and it found no threats. Anyone who is still unsure can also scan the ZIP or EXE with VirusTotal.

If anyone actually plays it, I mainly want to know what was confusing, what seemed interesting, and whether anything broke. If people are interested in the game, I may continue developing it.
If you want people to play your game I highly recommend publishing a web build on itch.io (which is free). Clicking on a link is a lot faster than downloading, unzipping, and possibly virus scanning an executable. Also, not everyone runs Windows - a web build supports Linux and Mac users (and maybe mobile as well, depending on the game’s interface) without having to make separate builds for them.
Thanks, I’ll do that. I do not really have high expectations for the game right now since it is still more of a prototype. I was mainly thinking that I might continue developing it if there is some interest. I’ll publish it on itch.io.
I’m a but puzzled on what to do.. i see the timer going down, again and again.. without calling it “my turn”. You refer ni the guide to the main deck. what is the main deck ?. maybe focus a bit more on the UX so the elements become more obvious for the player. Maybe a hint (and why) would help the player to get up to speed. My 2 cents
I tried the new Opus 5.0. It’s a good model. I asked it to update the game to make it easier to understand.
I also put the game on itch.io, here is the link: Random Card Game Prototype by Artieisen
By the way, I have an exam coming up. I made this game as a hobby over the summer holiday and it looks like I won’t be able to work on it anymore, but if people like it I’ll try to make time for it.
