Hey everyone!
I’m part of 1159 Studio, an indie game studio working on our first major project, Outplay.
Outplay is a 2D, two-player strategic card game currently in the prototype stage, being developed in Godot.
The idea behind it is that winning isn’t just about having the strongest cards. It’s about reading your opponent, anticipating their moves, and deciding when to bluff, adapt, or outsmart them.
We’re still early in development, so there’s a lot to figure out. I’m looking forward to sharing the process, experimenting with the mechanics, and gradually turning the idea into a playable game.
I’m also hoping to connect with other indie developers, especially people working with Godot, 2D art, card games, game design, or visual effects. I’d love to learn from what others are making and find opportunities to collaborate along the way.
A few things I’d love to hear your thoughts on:
-
What makes a two-player strategy game genuinely engaging for you?
-
Do you enjoy card games that focus on bluffing and reading your opponent?
-
If you’re an indie developer, what are you currently working on?
I’ll share more about Outplay as development progresses.
Thanks for reading, and I’d love to hear what you’re creating too!
we are looking for collaborators for this game if you are interested please mail us at : game.1159studio@gmail.com
