I’ve been trying to bring on an additional developer and offered these terms, still up for negotiations, but I haven’t heard back from them in about 2 weeks. I used a similar but different contract to sign on two VAs. Keep in mind that there is no prior experience on their part aside from some familiarity with game development on a different engine, and that their profit share is much larger than the VAs but for a shorter duration.
It’s a pretty small project and the first published title under this indie studio name, so expected profits might be a few hundred to a few thousand on the low estimate. I’ll be putting in man hours to spread the word about it, giving out a large number of keys to acquaintances and streamers in the expectation that exposure will be my best chance at turning profit.
