Hi devs, I want to make a south park the stick of truth like game with the way your character moves and they way you see him in the world and some of the gameplay mechanics and after a whole day of tryna figure out what engine would be best for this type of project and for a complete beginner I’ve decided to go with Unity (If anyone knows an visual coding like scratch I’m up for suggestions). Still unsure of the best way of explaining it but sort of like a 2d game in a 3d world/environment and if anyone’s got a better idea how to go about this project i’m listening. Btw sorry if this doesn’t make much sense as I said I’ve got no experience whatsoever with gamemaking. Thanks in advance.

Godot has visual script. You should go visit the Godot documents.

And as for the 2.5D look, you can do this case without any knowledge of 3D game design. All you need is your background picture and entity picture. But that’s not all.
I can’t just tell you how to make a 2.5D game if you don’t have any game designing experience. You better starting hitting the search engine. Here is a webpage to get you started.
