My Current Project Psychedelic RPG

Ive decided to jump right in at the deep in game with Game Dev. Thought i would share a little snippet of of what i currently have. This is just my little test scene for testing my main player movement and mechanics. The base of the game is shadow jester is a invader to the bloom planet which is an all natural planet which he is trying to take down. i have about 30 other 3d models of this quality for enemy’s levels written and code for mechanics. i current goat is to make a little snippet of a top quality game and see where i can take it from there ! I have worked on this on my own and have self taught through tutorials. Theres alot more than this just thought i would put a post to see if anyone takes any interest in it or they would be possibly be up for helping me with the project ! any questions fire away ! the mechanic I’m working on of summoning spiders,

Very cool looking models, would love to see more. What did you make them in?

I used tripo 2D to 3D and maximo to animate. i have downloaded blender and had a little play but my current laptop set up makes everything very hard to do ! should be getting a proper pc in the next few weeks though ! . I already had the images and designs from a card game like Pokémon but for an older audience I had been working on for me and my friends to play at gatherings. Then i had a little creative burst to see if i could start trying to turn this into a video game. I have taught my self everything over the past 2 months using YouTube and AI tools. hit a bit of a wall though haha when i was messing about in Godot and all my 3d models where just static and floating’s around could kind of make some fun game play now i have animated them it just kind of feels like a online fantasy karate tournament.

I’ve given Tripo a photo of a car that I used to own, with a short text, as a free test (I’m not convinced that AI is a valid tool, but wanted to see what it could do…). It’s been ‘generating’ now for well over half-an-hour whilst I watered the garden. No sign of a result yet; I would be just as quick modelling it myself in Blender. I’ve a couple of light chores on hand; if it’s still ‘generating’ by the time I’m ready, it’ll get cut off. It’s only a test; I don’t really need the model, but having heard the praises sung so high, I thought it worth a look. Here’s the photo I uploaded, for it to handle. Too tough for it..?..

Edit : Dinner is now served, so I’ll put this down as a Failure and cut it off. Never mind; it was just an experiment. Not all experiments succeed.

Just for my curiosity, what is the GPU you are running Tripo on? Do you use ComfyUI for it?

Well it seems to generate ridiculous models for me and is working well for me i dont know whats gone on with that car haHA
