Looks like you put a lot of work into this. Seems like a solid game. How come you’re open sourcing it only a month and a half after release? For those interested the game is on Steam.
I’d also love to hear about your experience in posting your first Steam game.
are u open sourcing it so others can contribute? u should change the license so others cant make money off it. looks like u put to much effort to just give it away.
I will try to open-source any of my projects once they reach a certain sales milestone—based on first-month sales (which usually already determine a game’s lifetime sales, so I won’t set an unrealistic target).
Compared to small, simplified projects for tutorials, a complete project is more valuable as a reference. I hope this can help developers who have game desgin skills but struggle to move beyond tutorials.
The project seems well written. I might have a configuration error. I get an error message saying Godot cant load the themes. I checked the directories and everything is in the right place, so im not sure what happened.
