Release candidate: Godot 4.2.1 RC 1


One of the major fixes I was happy to see is #83707. I’m worried this was passed through as a regression but I know the navlink system and overall the navigation system right now is experimental.

That said I really want to shout out smix8 and his work on the navigation system. It’s been amazing. I’ve been using their navlink system since it was a plugin. It’s been amazing to see it get into the engine alongside a far better navigation system than what was in 3.4. Thank you so much smix8!
