I doubt he was a developer on that system because his GitHub account is very new (like a month or 2 if I remember correctly) and he only has a couple commits, unless he’s using a different account for working on Godot. If that’s the case, why not use your official account so people know you are on the team that designed it. But he also said it was just “his theory” as to why it works like that.
In any case, I will just reassign the keys to something else, and move on. If they decide to fix/change it we will see some change later. But I’m spending too much energy on it now. I think I put my point across that it doesn’t work as a normal user would intend. It’s up to them to decide what to do with it at this point. I put in my last post describing why I don’t agree with him, so it’s up to them to deal with it now. I can’t really say any more without just keep repeating myself.
