Hi,
I’m completely new to Godot and I would like to start learning. The first release of Godot 4 isn’t far away so I was wondering if I should wait. But the thing is I don’t think there’s many resources to learn as it’s brand new. I don’t understand most of the differences outlined in the changelogs between version 3 and 4 so I was wondering what someone with a bit of experience would recommend.

Based on that, I’d recommend that you jump in with the latest v3 build (3.5.1 as of this writing). Starting from scratch, there’s lots to learn and much of it will carry over nicely to v4 - once it’s stable. And, honestly, it’ll probably still be some time before we have an actual v4 release build.
That said, if you really want, you can install both 3.5.1 and the latest v4 beta on the same machine to experiment with both.
Anyway, welcome to the community and happy Godot’ing…
Thanks for your answer and the warm greeting !
I’ll start with v3.5.1 then, I’m sure there’s plenty that can be done already
