Snap to grid in movement viewport

Hello all,
I want to know how to disable the snapping to grid that occurs when I try to move objects in the viewport.

Note: I did not turn on the grid option on the top toolbar.

Any help is appreciated

In the viewport there is a symbol like a little magnet. Click on that and it will remove the snap to grid. There is a short cut key as well, I think it is S but I am not sure about that.
