Hello everyone. I’m new here and need an any advice about creating 2D game based on text/graphic content, including survival rpg systems. I’m new in Godot, my only experience in coding is about HTML, CSS and JavaScript because of my job.

Any advice on how to handle this?

I was inspired with this game.

I meant similar style but game would be based on Day/night system, hunger and some basic resources like wood, dry grass to light a campfire or collecting water. With dialogues, trading stystem, inventory and stats.
Something like in this game.
Everything would be based on text with some icons and buttons.
I’d like to publish that as mobile game.

I too have been thinking about using Godot for creating these sort of games. While Twine is good and easy to get going with it doesn’t have the same possibilities that Godot could offer.

I was trying to use Twine but I think it’s only dedicated to classic SUD games with some pictures, backgrounds, music and so on. The biggest cons are export for browsers and very poor UI design options. Of course, I know it’s for SUD but I need something different :stuck_out_tongue: I wonder if I could handle Godot because it seems to be difficult :stuck_out_tongue:
