( virtual 3d ) Dice!

Ok I think i fixed it. Git is defo not my forte. But I did a new fresh clone from github and it looks fine in Forward+, Compatibility, and python webserver.

The 3D editor view looks bad because the test dice can’t reflect the gdscript switch in materials and shadows that happens when the project runs in different rendering modes. That’s fine, they are deleted when the app runs.

Warhammer TTRPG 4th edition player (at last, was the DM go-to dude for much too long), playing as often as we can, as a bunch of 50+ years old with jobs or kids or both is logistics nightmare. We play the campaign if there are 4 players and the DM. The full party is 7 or 8 people…
Doing the good old Enemy Within campaign (re)made for the 4th edition of the Warhammer RPG. Which is dark fantasy, not 40k.
We play a hybrid format of tabletop with books and huge plastified maps with everyone on a laptop or tablet for the Forge, which we use for dice rolling, quick reference, maps, combat, etc.
Quite cool if I may say so, we’ve known each other for 40+ years, it’s great times for all :man_dancing:t5::sign_of_the_horns:t5::flexed_biceps:t5:

Hi. I’ve roleplayed for over 40 years and GMd many different systems. While I probably wouldn’t use this for regular polyhedrals, I’d be interested if it had other options. 3 examples -

1/ DCC using zocchi dice. I can replace most with standard polyhedrals apart from the d7. That thing is a pain. There’s no way to use other dice except stuff like a d8 ignore the 8 which feels wrong to me.

2/ Fate of the Norns uses runes. Might be too much change as it would be drawing from a bag rather than a straight roll.

3/ Bones uses customized d6s. Skills, spells and attributes are faces of the dice each with different symbols. I’ve seen d6s with faces that can be switched out but a virtual version is would be a lot simpler given wear and tear.
