I have been trying for two weeks now to get STT in Godot.

I have tried compiling various versions of Godot using SCons and these modules:

To no avail.

On my last leg, I tried binding Python to Godot and using Python’s Speech Recognition library, but I keep getting strange errors that no one else has experienced and I don’t know where to reach out.

Does anyone know a simpler way to do this? Is there any other way for my game to have Speech Recognition?

I will recommend you to use this version
GitHub - menip/godot_speech_to_text: Speech to text module for Godot 3 because it is compatible with version 3 of the GODOT engine.

I ran the compiled version of Godot in this repository. It seems that it presents a keyword detection system (with an arbitrary set of keywords). It can’t recognize every pronounced word except you give all the possible words as the keywords.
