What makes you skip a Godot job post?

I run GodotHire, a small board for paid Godot jobs, so I read a lot of hiring posts before they go up. A few things come back all the time. Many posts don’t say the pay at all. Many don’t say if remote is ok, or from which time zone. My favourite is still “competitive pay”, which I’ve decided means the pay does sports.

If you’re a studio about to post, putting the pay range and the time zone up front saves you a lot of back and forth.

For those who applied to Godot jobs, what makes you skip a post right away? Curious if it’s the same things or if I’m missing some.

A couple of years ago I would’ve accepted any job just to have experience, but after having released two games already and worked on multiple larger projects, I got very, very picky. ANY job posting that says “revenue share” or “Pay after release” is an automatic no-go, since those projects will die before any release 99% of the time.

Aside from that, if the pay is a bit above the minimum wage in my country, I will most likely accept it.
