I’m relatively new to game Dev and I’m thinking about joining a game jam but i don’t know which one. I’m searching for one which doesn’t need a lot of graphical design so no requirements there. it doesn’t need to be an active one. i’m still a beginner but i have experience in coding

Ludum Dare is hosted pretty regularly, in my eyes it caters toward programmers and smaller team sizes.
I would recommend looking locally so you can find a group of neighbors to work together if you can. Of which Global Game Jam has “Jam Sites” just about everywhere you can sign up for.
The Godot Wild Jam is hosted very frequently, with a Godot focus; you may be able to find a team on their discord, same with the GMTK Jam if you are a fan of that channel.
Don’t be afraid of being a beginner, Jam’s are a great place to learn, meet people and mentors.

I can highly recommend the Kenney Jam on itch.io. It’s once a year but you must use their free assets only, which really boils down the work towards coding and game design.

I scroll through Game jams - itch.io and look for something that interests me.
I was scared at first but joining a small Jam and just submitted a game and reviewing what other have done was actually pretty fun, I joined 1-BIT JAM 7 - itch.io and tried to go through every submission and interacted with everyones game I played and I had a blast.
Let me know if you are joining a JAM and we can look at each others games if I have time to join!

If you’re new to game jams, keep it simple. Games like Magic Brawl prove that a lightweight idea can still be fun and polished.
