It was a pretty harmless joke, didn’t offend anyone. If anything it was praising someone. I think calling someone a jerk is more harmful for the community.
Saying that “X person won anyway” is pretty demoralizing to the rest of the community unfortunately, even if it was a “pretty harmless joke”.
