I really wanna make a game but I got no ideas. do any of you have any
Picture anything in your mind, then go from there ![]()
What kind of game do you want to make? Fast-paced? Turn-based? 2-player platformer with reversed gravity? Just anything you like.
Since you didn’t specify your skill level, I’m gonna throw you this list of 50 games that you can make yourself, or check how it was made in Python if you ever need an idea on how something should be / can be done.
no I just wanna have smth I can make to learn the engine
it can be complex tho
wait that seems really good
A strategy game like age of empires but the civilizations are colony bugs like ants, termites, bees and so on.
Horse Plinko
How about make something mega simple, That works on one screen.
Make something fun, get that loop locked in first.
Don`t focus on graphics or assets at first, prototyping is key ![]()
It’s been done, but have at it ![]()
Another way to go about getting ideas is to choose a feature first, and then build around it. Maybe you’d like to try working with fluids - make a game about someone with an endless nosebleed, or getting somewhere without getting wet, watering unusually fast plants, etc…
that also sounds good, considering how I love bugs I might pin that
might add it also seems better as a starting project because it isnt super complex but just enough to the point where I think it could cover a lot of things
