I’ll add more information, but our game is in pretty early development still, so there isn’t much to say. we’ve been trying to design a good combat system for our game- and so far we have basic “zelda” style combat, but obviously we’re looking for more. We’ve discussed buffs, and de-buffs, and an upgrade system, but honestly that’s cliché and not the most fun. so, TLDR: got any good ideas for combat?
And if anyone’s curios, here’s some stuff about the game. We’ve been calling it “Yonder,” but we’ll probably end up with something different. It’s an open world top-down pixelated game, with a very alive feeling world and music that slaps. hard. The story is pretty deep, and the player has the option of searching for deeper meanings, via side quests, and whatever, but the main story line follows a pretty enjoyable narrative.
