Audio Weakens When Farther Away from the Starting Point

Question

It’s hard to explain but, when I seem to get farther away from the center, the background music seems to weaken more and more the farther I get away from it. I am using a tutorial that was made using version 4.2.2, so maybe that might’ve changed something (?).

I did use another audio track other than the supplied one in the asset folder, so maybe that might’ve also affected something.

Use an AudioStreamPlayer node instead of AudioStreamPlayer2D. The tutorial is wrong about this.

AudioStreamPlayer2d and 3d being positional audio emitters, that would explain the fade to silence with distance :wink:
