Black Regions in HTC Focus in Mobile Mode

Question

I am doing some testing on an HTC Focus Vision and am seeing black rectangles that I do not see in compatibility mode renderer:

I am exporting an android apk and installing on device to run locally (no PC involved)

Also should note that frame rate seems better in compatibility mode… which may be related?
