I’m thinking of creating a card game that will be quite similar to the style of Edopro (where you can play Yu-Gi-Oh!), but since there are many examples of games made in Godot I didn’t find any that come close to the style of Edopro (plus I don’t know the graphic engine they use), so it made me doubt and that’s why I ask.
A random video so you can see the effects it has:
I don’t see why not, even the 3D effects should be a breeze for Godot, I see 3D effects and the amount of text on screen as the two hardest things for an engine to incorporate.
I did my research, if text is a problem can you use widgets? from what I understand that solves the problem. So I guess in Godot it will be the same right?
Sorry to extend the question beyond the original but can Godot make games equal to the graphics of the PS2 era? I mean games like Crash Bandicoot, God of War 2 and Resident Evil 4, because for these last examples I have not seen any game that is similar and I am surprised that there is not one.
While they are stylized, Pingo Adventure and TailQuest Defense have solid graphics and I’d say they’re sharper than the PS2 era.
