Can I export to iOS without an Apple Team ID?

I don’t have a paid Apple Developer account so I don’t have an Apple Team ID.
Is there a way to use a temporary certificate, like the ones Xcode generates, and use them instead? I don’t plan to release the game App Store, just to test it on my local device.

You can test with Xcode on an iPhone if you have a mac. For the apple ID, you’ll just use a random ID.
