Hi everyone,
I’ve been working on backend development projects for over 10 years, mostly in enterprise software — but I had no prior game development experience. About three months ago, I decided to give Godot a try, and it’s been an amazing journey so far.
Today, I’m really excited (and a bit nervous ) to share my very first game: Color Key.
About the game:
Color Key is a fast-paced color-matching game where you must quickly tap the correct color label based on the background color of falling cubes. Sounds easy? The speed increases as you play — and one wrong tap ends the game!
I’ve also included a short tutorial mode at the start to help first-time players get familiar with the mechanics.
This game is a hobby project, built with love and lots of late nights. I still have a lot to learn — both in game design and Godot — and I’d truly appreciate any feedback or suggestions from this awesome community.
Current status:
I’ve just passed the Closed Testing phase, and the game is now under review to be released on Google Play.
Your thoughts, suggestions, or even a small share on your social media would mean the world to me!
Thanks for reading,
