Megaloot is an addictive Inventory Management Roguelike RPG, where meticulous loot management paves the way for creating diverse and powerful builds. Combine deck cards and loot strategically to craft dominating builds and become the ultimate power hunter.
I’m loving the commitment of all the contributors who make Godot a better engine, but this is my only question: Will the mesh merging and lod nodes from the latest 3.x release be included, or will they be released in a different version?
For LOD, we have no plans to port them to 4.x. Godot 4 already has the HLOD nodes which are much more powerful and do the same thing as the 3.6 LOD nodes.
For Mesh Merging, we aren’t sure yet. We added them to 3.x to see if users find them useful and evaluate whether it is worth adding to 4.x. Basically we need to hear that it is getting used in games that ship and becoming an integral part of the workflow for 3D teams before we do the work of forward porting it.
That’s not an ad, it’s a showcase from the community (that are using Godot for their project). Not sure what criteria or procedure to get highlighted into one though.
