Do I need to install templates for every version?

Question

I made a game in Godot version 4.7, but the first and latest game I exported was in 4.6 so I have 4.6 export templates. How do I export this game safely?? I’m not very proud of my computer’s storage, and the 4.6 windows export templates were already a 1.6 GB download.

You can remove and install compatible version of templates, also 4.7 supports downloading in editor only selected platform this can help you save space.

Somewhere in Roaming app data.

But you should be able to remove it from editor the previous versions.

I can do it from the editor in “Manage Export Templates” under “Editor”
