Sorry im new to this. there, hope it help. It happen when im dragging scene node to the file in filesystem and then the engine freeze then it close by it self. (Edit : it not happen when i use Godot 4.4.1 stable tho)

Hmm ! it works smoothly on mine! I am also using 4.5.1 .What’s the polygon count of the meshes?

Again im sorry, i dont understand what that is. Im a beginner, just start learning. Maybe my laptop is the problem.

it means how many polygons/triangles are in the mesh(3d model) Can you show a screenshot of the 3d models you are trying to move into file system?

I am taking a course for beginner, im downloading assets from others. Maybe this will help. (Edit : it not just some node. It happen to all the node in the assets.)

These looks low-poly. why are you trying to move the node to the filesystem?
And which node are you trying to move?

Im clueless myself. Im following what the tutor do in the video. :sweat_smile: Sorry for bothering you sir, but if there is a problem maybe in the engine, i hope this will help to the engine in the future somehow.

are you trying to save the Terrain node in the filesystem?
then you can right click on the node and click save branch as scene

Yes exactly. But it crash only when i drag the node to the file. Not in manual like you did.

Maybe that’s a bug…Can you click on the version and paste it (it will copy it by itself)


It will show the exact version of the engine

also, can you try changing the render mode to compatibility or forward+

I have try changing the render mode to both. The problem still occur.

(Edit: i try to attach the video of recording when it happen, but as a new user i cant do that)

I am pretty sure that’s a bug .You can just save it as branch scene ,both ways are simple and easy
