Font character spacing for global theme. Possible?

See topic’s title. There’s an answer already, which apparently work here: Godot 4: How to change the character spacing of a True Type font? but I want this to be applied globally, not just on one label or such.

Is this possible in 4.1.2? If not, anything on the upcoming release? And if not, how difficult would that be to do on my own? Worth it or probably too much of a hassle?


Create a FontVariation Resource and setup as you like. Then, apply it as the default Font in the projects settings under GUI -> Theme You’ll need to enable Advanced settings to see it.

It’s buried deep, but I found it. It would be nice if those options were directly into the dialog in the project settings for easier access. Regardless, it’s done and it works.
