Question
I am running Godot 4.5.1 on Kubuntu and have my Valve Index setup on it. I have SteamVR switched on with both controllers and the HMD tracking, and Godot is able to track the controllers in my game, but it cant seem to detect any input from any of the buttons. The SteamVR controller management shows all buttons being detected normally.
I have XR enabled in my project settings of course. And I’ve tried some blanket _input(event) output, but get nothing. The Godot Input detector doesnt detect anything when pressing the buttons or moving the joysticks. And I have my Inputs setup to detect the general joystick inputs for controllers, so assuming the VR inputs should come through for these Inputs, they do not fire for my Index controllers but work fine for my Steam Deck joysticks.
Does anyone have any thoughts on how I can work around this?
