I feel like there’s been a lot more people around than usual. Plus, I’ve also been seeing some new regulars as well, which are hard to come by.

Be honest forum is a bit better medium for slower paced conversations, and also more then likely you can attach here full code ( in Discord likely it get overlooked ) .

Yeah I’ve noticed the forum becoming fuller too. But that’s kind of always been the case. When I joined in 2024 it was basically empty as far as I remember. Then around 2025 it started picking up steam and has been just getting fuller and fuller since.

Yeah, since I am kind of online the whole day, I saw at least 2 spam ads in the past 2 weeks, well the community nuked it instantly

Ok to clarify. I’m bad at understanding text in the way it’s supposed to be understood. Am I being called a spammer here. Cause the order makes it seem like it and I’ve heard that about me before.

To expand on that it’s kind of interesting to see actually. As you said I’ve become a more regular contributor on this forum. But I’ve been here as one of the first . I joined mid 2024 which is way before mqny so Ive gotten to see the community grow which is in a way very comforting. As someone who has been using Godot since the 3.x versions it’s super nice to see it turn from an unknown engine to an engine ranked among the top 3 in most lists you see.

I’m new. Been out of work so got back into coding after 30ish years to keep myself occupied. Chose Godot as it was available on my phone with no ads or costs and had some decent games under it’s belt. Currently mostly looking at creating apps for board games and tabletop RPGs.

Also I’ve said it a lot but I’ll say it again. The Godot community is in general so friendly. Other forums and communities in general are waaaaaay more hostile from my experience. I guess it’s just a nice side effect of Godot being completely community “driven”

Instead of wars, we sometimes get cold-wars in some general topics lol.
