Question
Hiya, I’ve been working with Godot for quite a while now. However I just never seem to finish a game. I always start way to big. And frankly I’m not good enough yet. But I really want to finish something. I’ve cooked up a little game idea. Do you think this is small enough?
Game: Clicker Egg Hatchery
Core Loop
- Click the egg → cracks progress bar (or counter) increases.
- When progress = full → egg hatches → reveal a random monster.
- That monster is added to your collection screen (grayed out → now colored).
- Then a new egg appears.
Upgrades
Click Strength Upgrade → +1 damage per click.
Autoclick Upgrade → Incubator, warmth, hammer
Win Condition
You’ve hatched all monsters (maybe 6–12 total).
The collection screen shows them all colored → “You caught them all!”
