I am working on a 3d game and I need to design levels for the game. I use blender to design 3d models.for the first level, I baked textures for the stage model but it’s resolution was so bad. Then I wanted to make level by using parts in godot, but I realized that then I can’t bake ao. Please help. Usually how you design your levels?
You can bake maps and textures in blender. Thanks but my game is nearly realistic, like RE series or outlast etc. If I use grid maps, I think it makes it less realistic and repetitive.
Im currently trying out a workflow of making maps in blender and then using the blender importer; i just save the blender file in my game files and drop it in like that.
Havent gotten far but it seems doable, only issue i found so far is the lights being too bright for which i made a bootleg fix until it hopefully gets fixed with godot itself in the future
