HTML5 Export not working anymore on Firefox Android

Godot Version

Godot 4.2.1

Question

Hey everyone,

I’d like to inquire about the Godot 4.2.1 HTML5 Web Export. Until recently I was perfectly able to play my game on Itch.IO by adding to Cross Origin Headers and checking the SharedBufferSupport checkbox. That still works on Firefox Desktop, Chrome Desktop, Chrome Mobile and Edge, it only exlusively does not work on Firefox Android for me anymore, tested with two devices.

Unfortunately I’m not quite sure what the reason for that is. It might be my recent upgrade from 4.0 to 4.2.1 or it might be Itch or Firefox related. Does anyone have more information on this? In case it helps, you can check the game at Auto Dwarfs by Gwynlix

Kind Regards,
Gwynlix

I’ve taken notice of it too because I went to check friend’s games today on itch.io.
Yep, doesn’t work on Firefox and Firefox Focus on Android, same errors.
This is true for Godot 4 games that used to work too, so I am 90% sure this is on itch.io side. Let’s go tell them.

Created a thread to track it on itch.io

Thank you! I did the same thing on their GitHub page.

Oh, I didn’t know they had a Github!

I’m here for the same reason, my game stopped working after deploying with godot version 4.2, you say it’s a itch problem but they say it’s a godot problem. The game worked before so I’m not sure it’s a itch problem. Thanks!
