I am unable to get any Bone2d node to register a "proper REST pose"

Godot_mono 4.3 on m1 macbook pro

Question

Essentially, I’ve tried following these tutorials to get bone animation to work and none of them could help me get past this issue, I’d really appreciate any help.

My issue not being able to set a proper REST position for any Bone2D node, I’ve screen recorded my issue in order to make it easier to understand (sorry if it may cause any inconvenience).
