I fixed my bachelor's thesis made in Godot 3 in 2022

Hello, fellow Godot community! :cowboy_hat_face:

I just wanted to share my lastest project where I revisited my bachelor’s thesis from 2022.

The point is that in 2022 I didn’t invest enough effort and time to it, so it ended up being a pretty mediocre project, even with the good marks. And the worst part is that after everything I didn’t learn Godot at all, making a lot of shortcuts and patches to do what I wanted without truly doing it right :sob:

Now, I’ve been learning Godot for something less than a year in my free time and a couple of months full time and I wanted to update the project to Godot 4, fix every sin I made and redeem myself:woozy_face:

I invite you to try the version that I sent for my Bachelor’s Submission (2.0) and afterwards the final version I’ve been fixing and improving in the last 10 days. Everything’s on my GitHub repository along with the full story and some thoughts.

Even though there’re still plenty of room to improve, I marked this project as closed, since I don’t want to make it a fully fledge game, I just want it to be a decent one that I can be proud of. I’ve enjoyed a lot doing this and I learnt a lot too. Now I can move on peacefully to other projects.

Nevertheless, if you want to share feedback with me, I’ll be glad to hear it! After all, every comment that I can learn from is welcomed:sparkling_heart:

Hmm … https://ddd.uab.cat is really slow for me (from germany). Not usable here.

It’s slow even for me here in Spain  /s University excellence

If you want to see the final report, it’s the second link in the readme in my GitHub. I uploaded it there locally, so it’s easier to reach :rose:
