Issue
My godot editor is flickering and glitching as I’m using it. If I rapidly tap with my mouse on the editor I can make the issue even more pronounced. I’ve tested most major 4.x versions and they all failed spectacularly in helping with the issue. Version 3.6.2 does not have the same issues and runs way more smoothly. I’ve tried tampering with the rendering device, switching between Vulkan and D3D12 but the issue persists. My attempts at switching renderers hasn’t helped. I have tried switching my monitors refresh rate and neither of the following rates made any significant difference: 60hz, 120hz, 144hz. I tried updating my Nvidia studio driver but it did not help the issue either. Opening Godot with the console made no significant different and the console did not log anything significant.
TLDR; Flickering issues from an unknown cause, updating drivers and switching rendering device settings, refresh rate and renderers has not helped and it seems to only be happening on versions 4.x.
