Issue with strange texture issue. Stretching when zoomed out in both editor and game

Question

I’ve been having an issue with a few of the models I make in blender, when imported the texture stretches in a very strange way until I zoom into the object very close. It has made the entire process impossible to continue working on my game because it’s completely random what models it does it too. Because the issue is harder to explain than just ‘it’s stretching the texture’ because that IS what it’s doing, I will attach a video below. I have already had to scrap and redesign seven models and of those seven, four of them also did the same thing.

I did recently change computers mid project… I don’t know how that could have impacted it but before the change it never did this and now that I’ve started working on the project on the new device it keeps doing it no matter what texture or setting I change.

It also does do it in both the editor and the game. I don’t know what else to add because i’m actually at a loss for what could be the cause.

Any help would be appreciated because this is actually making me not want to continue working.

What happens if you disable LOD generation in asset’s import options?

HOLY SH-

I had already tried that last night and it didn’t work…. i’m not a fool trust me… though it might seem like it right now….

I disabled it, reimported it, and it still did it on the first model… cause this was the first thing I tried…

HOWEVER I did it just now to humor you because… I very much believe technology hates us and wants to make us look dumb… and it worked.

Thank you for being the outside force that forces technology to behave for me.
