I’ve just released my first game onto steam, Stu the fisherman.
It’s a casual fishing experience featuring rogue-lite elements and balatro-like scoring mechanics!
If that sounds like something you might be interested in, it’s available now on steam with a demo! (and epic games in the coming days.)

Thank you!
The music is by HZSmith, he had a massive collection of free to use music!

Thanks for sharing that, I wanted to ask but it felt a bit rude TBH.
I see HZSmith is also on fiverr. They seem extremely good! (And very reasonable fiverr pricing too).
I find sound such a difficult thing, balancing all the sounds so they work well together seems like such a nightmare, and of course you know the user is probably going to turn them off!
Thanks again and again, best of luck with your game.
Audio mixing is tough! I find all the sounds generally have to come from the same sound designer, otherwise it’s just a nightmare to mix!
Thanks a lot!
I will be downloading all his free stuff today.
For you and @pauldrewett I also recommend Ovani Sound and ELV Games. They’re awesome and I highly recommend both. Ovani has bundles on Humble periodically, and every few months if you’re on their mailing list they put out a huge new bundle of music and sound for $20. ELV has a Music pack for like $35 that they add 5 new songs to to almost every Friday and a Sound Effects pack they add to almost very week on sale now for $15.
