Kenney's Assets (Free and Creative Commons CC0)

For those who don’t know, Kenney has been making free game assets for years and at this point has thousands of them, which are all free to use even in commercial projects. He has 2D and 3D assets for various genres, as well as UI, fonts, and even some sound effects. These are great for prototyping, placeholder art, tutorials, and game jams (if the jam rules allow it). In fact, there’s a good chance that you’ve seen them in some indie games/jams/prototypes/tutorials even if you don’t know about them.

Kenney’s Assets are a great resource everyone should be aware of.

Here is an example from the Pixel Platformer asset pack:

If you like them and use the assets, you can support Kenney through donating, subscribing, or purchasing the assets.

Thanks for adding more. I’m still a new user so I could only include two links and one image.

Kenney rocks. I’ve been using his 1-bit pack for my never-to-be-completed rogue-like.

And don’t forget his custom Godot splash screens:

It’s a great resource. I’ve just used the smoke textures in my Snow Particles tutorial.
