Cool concept. It was fun to play. Maybe add a mechanic to be able to shoot in different directions?

I probably won’t because bullet hell games usually have you shoot straight only .

+1 to this. This actually reminds me a lot of the “hacking minigame” from Nier:Automata. That was basically unplayable until I found that there is an auto-aim feature. Even without that. I think this would work much better if you could walk around dodging the incoming bullets, while keeping shooting in the direction of the target.

On the other hand, I just figured out a strategy that let me win easily without any rotation. Maybe this is not a bad idea after all.
The artstyle is fine, although I think it could use more something on the screen. Perhaps a nice background?
And another idea that I just had - maybe try adding a little bit of inertia to the movement? Not a lot, it still has to feel responsive, but just enough that there’s a feeling of “turning” and “stopping” and “starting”.
