Ok no more comments here i quite this forum

Thank you so much for your great help!
I decided to use Google Drive and not zip the files because Git or GitHub doesn’t work well on my PC, so I have to use the web version instead.
I really appreciate your clear summaries and all the support.
Wishing you the best of luck!

YEa i have put some super short videos there

I’m still a bit skeptical of this. I’m not sure why git wouldn’t “work well” on your PC for one, as it should work on any PC where Godot runs.

The google drive link doesn’t bode well either, and using Google drive, or similar cloud file sharing solutions for collaborating is a HORRIBLE idea, as you’ll likely constantly end up overwriting each other’s changes. That’s why you need GIT or other VCS if you want to collaborate with others.

Also the fact that you made it so people are required to log in with their google accounts to access the share isn’t exactly great either.

As a friendly suggestion, you should watch some beginner videos about how git works, and how to use it properly, as this will massively increase the amount of people who would be willing to collaborate with you on your game.

okkkk i wil try searching some videos thx for ur wuper kind help!>>

now i will [edited:i already compelted it] use github yaey.

This is not sketchy anymore dont misunderstand me it was just a mistake when i was a noob dont discourage me please it make my hard work no value

Instead of asking for help on many many things, I recommend creating small posts about specific parts.

For example:

  • “Does my user interface HUD look good?”
  • “Feedback about my character 3d model”
  • “Where to get good free textures”
  • “Ideas for how to code a rank system”

If you make smaller, more specific posts like this then people will take it a lot more seriously.

Sharing your entire source code game and saying “help me on all of this stuff” is not likely to get anyone interested.

I am going to be honest here. Spend more time on your messages because it is painful to read them. Also, create a website on github for your dev updates. This isn’t a blog forum. Third, If you want people to help you, be more respectful, patient, and professional. Having an AI-Generated post and then constantly harassing people because they point out obvious flaws in your tone of speech and overall post is not a good look at all. I get you are 14 years old, but that is not an excuse. And putting trailing ‘noooooobbbbbbbb’ and ‘pleeassseeeee’ is just obnoxious. Your project is cool, and you obviously have made some great progress. Keep it up, and don’t let your speech and demeanor ruin it. Best of luck on your project.

Thank you for taking the time to provide such thoughtful feedback. I really appreciate your honesty, and I can see where I can improve. You’re absolutely right that I need to be more careful with my tone and make sure my messages are clearer and more professional. I’ll definitely work on making my posts more polished and less casual in the future.

I also agree that GitHub would be a better place for project updates, and I’ll look into setting that up soon. I’m still learning, and your advice really helps me improve both my communication and the project itself.

I apologize if I came across as pushy or disrespectful—I truly didn’t mean to. I’ll be more patient and professional going forward. Thanks again for the constructive criticism; it’s valuable and I’ll take it to heart.

AI comment again is wild.

Hey @Light_times0

It’s ok to be human you know. Speak in your own voice. You don’t have to run your forum comments through AI. Just be yourself. And as @SpikeTrapBoomStudios said,

I know it might seem like the AI generated replies are ‘better’ than you can write, but they really aren’t. Just think what you want to say, and write that. It really is faster than telling AI the situation and editing their best guess at what you want to say. Nobody is judging your ‘grammar’ or ‘syntax’ or poetic imagary. Just say what you want to say and be you.

Best of luck on your project.

what should i even do , sorry , ifeel bad btw.

No don’t feel bad. Just forget this particular thread and start a new one. Your project sounds really good. Don’t go. If you need any help with anything start a new thread and we will all jump in to help. Don’t worry about anything said before and the few people that have posted here do not represent this amazing community. It is a community of individuals all facing the same pressures and challenges of game making.

Who knows. Your project might be the next MineCraft and you might be the next Markus Persson (had to look up his name) who sold MineCraft for 2.5 Billion to Microsoft.

Don’t give up now!

No, but same here. I bet it was nothing sinister really, but these old sherlock bones are dying to know for sure - lol.
