Phoenix USC: Phoenix Universe of Space Combat

Hi,

Sixty seconds of my client player ship sitting still in one position, zoomed out max and just watching the Melvin bots doing their thing. Two 40 Melvin bot teams battle to capture and hold the flag to win the match.

Melvin bots are designed to mimic human game play actions making for challenging combat. Melvin’s can be used to augment the human game population during slow periods maintaining a mix of human and bot players on each team. Melvin’s can do many things and are a key part of Phoenix USC.

I use Godot’s Navigation Server along with my own GDScript based synchronization of server to client states. It allows me fine grained control including real-time interaction between all entity’s in the game. Features like repel or other direct entity interactions are possible using my design.
