It happens unpredictably, but it seems it’s always when I’m moving quickly. I’ll see if I can find some steps to reproduce it.
Sure! It’s a fine game to have one’s name carved on somewhere ![]()

Hope the explanation was clear enough! So far 1 and 3 are getting the most picks.
Also, before I (generally) clock out for the day:
Score issue should be fixed with this.
Your score now persists across deaths, but orbs collected are persistently gone until you restart. So you keep the bulk of your score. I might tweak it slightly but this should feel fairer.
I get it now
I’ll go D4.
I will
This looks amazing. I love the artstyle a lot, it reminds me of those cool flash games back in the day.
Thank you!
Yeah, I’ll take that comparison, haha.
It takes a lot of inspiration from hand drawn platformers/games and many with smooth movement.
What a beautiful game!
Thank you! Hope you can try it out!
If not, I can upload an extended play through at some point to watch instead
Added cheeks. That is all.
Cheeky.

Mini game incoming:
“We have PiN the Guardian Spirit at home”
These guys look like they’d be named Needle the Defending Spirit
Jokes aside, I like the idea of mixing artstyles. The new characters are cute, and it certainly makes a game look much more impressive in trailers to have distinct minigames. How will this minigame be accessed?
The names cracked me up
.
Just thinking of ways to add more depth and variety to the game without being too taxing.
This mini game is actually one of 2 instances you can access in the hub.
Im not sure which order Im going to do it yet; one has the normal graphics, and one has it like this.
When you play with these graphics, its actually inside an enemy’s dream who has escaped PiN and Sol once already.
Hello! A week is too long.
A few things to show as I’m adding more lore to the game.
Planesight goggles : Toggle them on and off to spot neutral spirits / platforms / traps. They share the same shade as Sol to indicate it’s something Sol can already see, but you can too if you equip your goggles.
Perks : Finally settled on the look! Instead of badges, you get ancient looking glyphs housed in a corporate shell. (More on that later)
Sol variations: He needs more utility and interaction in the game. So! Some of these have already been implemented, but im not near a PC right now.
Shells: Rayman bubbles-no-more! It is probably too on the nose. I’ve had two camps of people; 1) Its similar but fine alongside everything else 2) We haven’t seen anything but this, and it’s too much like Rayman. SO! You now trap weaker spirits in these shells, which still float, “cook” the vessel, and then you can free the spirit when you jump on it. You can also grapple on it if you choose. Which opens up movement underneath the shell as well.
PiN’s Bike: A sort of DIY but very functional bike you’ll get to use in a level. WIP.
PiN’s as of yet undecided device: I’m still working on where it fits in the lore but I’m heavily debating replacing the nice but slightly generic pause screen to use his device instead. WIP obviously haha.
Will post more later.
Hope everyone’s doing alright!
That game is awesome. How did you create this smooth ground effect in Godot?
Thank you bud!
There’s this plugin here:
YouTube has a couple of videos to help you get started.
Or if you have any questions you can just ask me.
Thank you for the plugin, it’s exactly what I needed. I wish you great success with your game launch — it’s a really cool game.
You’re very welcome. Good luck on your game!
