Problem with android export template

Question

I was trying to modify the code inside the apk template in res/layout/godot_app_layout.xml but the modification were not persisting.But if Change the AndroidManifest.xml the changes persist there. my file manger(MT manager) says
both are using AXML charset. how can i modify the godot_app_layout.xml on Android (maybe even using termux)

Hi, what is your target. I am laso interested in learning about android export, export templates and .apk.

Sorry what do you mean. What i found is that it is not possible to export apk (borderless at least) not possible from Android editor for now
