Project Manager - "Last Edited" should not be "Last Opened"

Godot Version

4.5.1

Whenever you open a project in the project manager, even if you don't edit it, it changes the time in the project manager. When I have to go back to look for and old working version of something that broke, this makes it extremely difficult to use, since a project that has had no changes goes to the top of the "last edited" list.

I can’t think of any other program I use that takes a file that has been opened but not saved and changes its time to make it look like it was edited. It’s not even compatible with your own language: It’s not “last edited” you’re sorting by then, it’s last viewed.

Is there some way to disable this behavior? I don’t want my recent projects to be cluttered up by things I haven’t worked on for days just because I’m searching for old information but never making changes.

This is something to add to the proposals list. Personally, I’d hate that, as I very often open up projects just to refer to code while working on a project. For example with the game I’m working on now, I frequently pull up about 5 different previous projects for reference. I like that they stay at the top of the list.
