We present to you: Godot 4.3

YES!! this is going to be great!
Was looking forward to the navigation mesh update. Any idea when 4.3 will be pushed to steam? That’s where I get my Godot from.
I hope soon, that’s where Im using it from too.
15 August is Indian Independence Day and this release dropped on this day and made my day even better
Problems with the fancy new website.
This is a screenshot of what the website looks like on my desktop.
Amazing work, thank everyone involved so much.
I’ve known for a while that 4.3 was going to be the launch version for my game, and was a little worried I might be ready before 4.3 went gold, but this arrived perfectly in time for me to finish my last few weeks of testing.
For the record, the only problem I had going from RC3 to stable, was my texture atlases got corrupted, but I reimported them and all is now good.
Yay! Pulled in my 4.2 prototype game, and it ran perfectly after the conversion. Thankyou to all the devs!
Congrats on the release of Godot 4.3! The community effort is incredible. Can’t wait to explore all the new features and see what’s improved. Huge thanks to everyone who contributed!
Great work!
Question:
Is the minimum .NET version now 8.0? Asking because this is mentioned in the change log. However, when creating a new project the default project file still targets .NET 6.
I imagine you are talking about the following changelog line?
Enforce using .NET SDK >= 8 (GH-91079).
If so, this is related to the SDK used when building the engine, and does not impact the environment you are using to develop your game. The minimal .NET version is still 6.0 in Godot 4.3.
I have a problem with fonts in Engine it is occuring in only 4th version of godot
How can I tackle this issue
what is your problem ?
