I agee that the UI showcase screens were poorly executed. Most of my work went into generating and organizing the icons, buttons, and other individual assets. The full UI screens were only intended to communicate a general concept, but I presented them incorrectly. That was my mistake.
I will redesign the showcase screens using the actual assets included in the pack, so they demonstrate a realistic use case rather than just a generated concept.
Progress bars with inconsistent lengths and pip sizes. Progress pips with non-uniform pips and unintelligible fill rates.
There’s no way you created this preview image with game-ready assets. You just used an image generator to fake a complete game UI. Charging 60 big ones for this is insane given 1. it’s AI and 2. there is no way to trust this is game-ready; if anything your farming pack shows that it’s not game-ready because the sample progress bar shifts between styles and only fills at 1/4th increments, not like a real progress bar with a background, fill, and foreground texture.
Thank you for the honest and detailed feedback. I appreciate you taking the time to point this out.
I realize that I did not present the product clearly enough, and the current preview may give the wrong impression. The full-screen images were intended as visual showcase mockups demonstrating how the assets and overall style could potentially be used. They were not meant to imply that the pack contains a finished, fully functional Godot interface.
This is primarily a visual UI asset pack. It does not include a ready-made Godot Theme, scripted UI logic, or complete functional interface scenes. I should have made that distinction much more visible in the post and in the preview images.
Your comments about the presentation and some of the inconsistent UI details are fair. I will review the showcase materials, correct the misleading elements, and clearly label the screens as conceptual usage examples.
Thank you again for the constructive feedback. It is genuinely helpful and will allow me to improve both the product presentation and future releases.
Its quite funny that a six fingered glove artifact is included as well. I thought AI had stopped struggling so with getting the number of fingers right.
Is everything, including your reply to gertkeno AI-generated?
You are right about the six-fingered glove — I missed it during the visual review. I will fix or remove it and recheck the pack.As for my comments, the thoughts and decisions are mine. Feel free to ask me a direct follow-up about anything I have written.
I’m a beginner and I want to learn more about what AI can do. This is only the beginning for me. I posted here specifically to receive feedback so I can create better, more useful projects in the future.
If you think generating and processing 1,000 images takes no time or effort, or that I am just a schoolkid doing this carelessly, then you are mistaken. Exploring AI is a hobby for me, and I would genuinely appreciate any constructive advice.
Maybe I’m doing this all wrong or poorly, but it’s better to find out now and stop doing it, because it takes a lot of time.
If you don’t mind sharing, how would you make it cheaper, better, and more useful for the customer? Using yourself as an example, what AI-made product would you personally be willing to buy because it would actually be useful to you?
Honestly I’d probably get something like this if it was around $5 - 7. I haven’t worked on enough to follow pricing but I’d expect AI to be cheap due to the minimal effort. That said I’m currently unemployed and unlikely to be buying anything soon no matter what the price or how it was created. My main focus would be tilesets, images and sprites/models. I’m mostly into apps for tabletop RPGs and converting board games, RPGs and war games to digital.
