Rendering order of 3D Particles

Question

I have a forest map with hexagons, and trees on every hexagon. A lumberjack comes and cut one of the tree. Then it spawns a Node3D with a smoke 3DParticle emitting. It all goes fine and in the right sequence, but the particle seems oddly spawning behind the trees at the back. I tried to change the render priority of both the Particle and the trees, but it still won’t represent the smoke at the right place (well, it IS at the right place, but the visual of it doesn’t seem to).

Does anyone have an idea what I’m doing wrong?

Try enabling depth prepass transparency mode for all involved transparent materials/shaders.

I had the leaves texture with a render priority of 1, and the rest at 0… that was shamefully simple to solve.
