I brought this up and it got a lot of requests on how to actually do it. So here’s a scrappy guide. There’s a market of cheap (below 100$) handheld game consoles that Godot games can now be ported to. Pic related, as these are some Godot 4.x games and demos we’ve made running on some of these cheap handhelds. They tend to have a lot of form factors that is really fun to be able to play your own games on.
The process is a little involved if you’re starting from scratch, and this isn’t a very good guide for a super-duper beginner, but it should serve as a starting point if someone wants to try jumping off and making something better and easier to digest. As it stands, this is one of if not the only real compilations of guides on how to do this.
